There are two types o Victim Impact Panels:
The panels are not open to the general public.
The Victim Impact Panel (VIP) is completed on-line. The following information will assist you in receiving your certificate.
The panel is held at the Henry County Courthouse in the North Courtroom on the first floor and begins promptly at 6 pm. The Henry County Courthouse is located at:307 W Center StreetCambridge, IL 61238
You must be signed up for a panel by your probation officer.
Rules are as follows:
The First Offender Victim Impact Panel costs $25 and is paid on-line.
The Multiple Offender Panel costs $25 in cash.
Payments are made on the date of the panel. This is not a fee paid to the clerk or a probation fee. Please refer to the panel rules for more information regarding payments.
The First Offender Victim Impact Panel takes approximately 2 hours to complete on-line, and the Multiple Offender Panel lasts 2 hours.
Call your probation officer immediately at 309-937-3580. The court will be notified of your failure to complete the VIP or attend the Multiple Offender Panel as scheduled and you will receive a notice to appear in court.
You must have permission from the sentencing judge to attend a Multiple Offender Panel in another county or state. If the judge approves this, Henry County Court Services will contact the agency where you would like to attend and will give you instructions on how to get scheduled for the panel.
