A Message From Your County Clerk/Recorder
As your County Clerk/Recorder for Henry County, I am honored to provide valuable services to the citizens of Henry County. It is a privilege to serve as your County Clerk/Recorder. Our services vary from maintaining records of the County's vital statistics and records including birth, death and marriage certificates and reporting those to the State, as required by law. Duties also include the processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable. I am the County Recorder for all land records in the county, and also the Election Authority administering the electoral process including voter registrations. My office also administers services to the general public such as commissioning notary publics, receiving delinquent taxes and annually publishing a County Directory of the Elected Officials of the County and municipal office holders. Along with many other services we also handle tax services such as annually calculating the rates for the Henry County taxing districts which includes working with the Supervisor of Assessments and the Henry County Treasurer to issue property tax bills. I hope you take advantage of the many services we offer, as it is our goal to extend these services to the public in a timely and efficient manner.

Effective immediately, due to the recent events, the Henry County Courthouse will be operating by “Appointment Only” until further notice. However, you will still be able to utilize several of our services online. Some of those services would be E-recordings, land searches, vital records requests to just name a few. Please check my website for all available online services. If you do not have the means to use online services please contact my offices at the following numbers to schedule an appointment:

My staff and I will do our best to accommodate you to allow for you to come in and do any work within the office. If you are scheduling time to come into the Recorder’s Office for land record searches and need to extend your search in the Henry County Assessor’s Office or the Henry County Treasurer’s Office, you will only need to make an appointment with the Recorder’s Office and we will notify the other two offices of you coming so you are able to search within their offices also. We are limiting the appointments in 2 hour increments at which time you will be asked to leave so we can do a thorough cleaning of the office for the next scheduled appointments. The appointments will start at 8:00 a.m. and conclude at 4:00 p.m. This is only for land record purposes.
