Video Visitation Rules for Off-Site Visitation

  1. Off-site visits may be scheduled in advance by the visitor from the Combined Public Communications website.
  2. The registering visitor must be at least 18 years of age and present a valid, government-issued photo identification during the initial registration process. Approvals are generally made within 4 business days.
  3. The duration of each visit is 20 minutes. Inmates are not restricted as to the number of off-site video visits they may receive in a week. On-site visits are restricted to 1 visit a week.
  4. All visits are recorded and subject to electronic monitoring by the Henry County Jail staff. Your use of this video visitation system constitutes consent to this recording and monitoring.
  5. The visitor and inmate are responsible for being present at the start of the scheduled visit.
  6. Participation in video visitation is a privilege, not a right. Both visitors and inmates are expected to conduct themselves in an appropriate fashion at all times during the video visit. Violators of 6a through 6d will be  barred from off-site and on-site visitation:
    1. Tight-fitting, provocative, or see-through clothing is prohibited.
    2. Nudity, partial nudity, sexual acts, simulated sexual acts, or depiction thereof is prohibited.
    3. Security threat group or gang activity, signage, symbols, or other representation of any such group is prohibited.
    4. Any illegal activity, conspiracy to commit an illegal act, or depiction thereof is prohibited.
  7. Visitors appearing to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs are subject to having the visit canceled and barred from future visits.
  8. Visitors under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian present during the off-site visit.
  9. Any type of provocative or disruptive behavior will not be permitted.
  10. Do not damage or deface the visitation equipment. Doing so will result in prosecution.
  11. If you experience a problem with the audio or video reception during your visit, please refer to the Combined Public Communications website for assistance.
  12. At the time of scheduling, the family member must be prepared to provide the following information:
    1. Inmate legal name
    2. Visitor valid government-issued photo identification (I.e., driver's license)
    3. Visitor home address
    4. Visitor telephone number
    5. Visitor email address
  13. Inmates on work detail will not be allowed to leave the detail for a friends/family video visit.

Off-Site Video Visitation Hours

  • All Week, 8 am to 8 pm

The Henry County Sheriff’s Office also reserves the right to restrict a visitor from participating in all future use of the system, either on-site or for remote visitation.

Video Visitation Rules for On-Site Visitation

  1. On-site visits may be scheduled in advance by the visitor from the Combined Public Communications website.
  2. Visitors must present a valid government-issued photo identification.
  3. The duration of each visit is 20 minutes - each inmate is allowed one on-site visit per week.
  4. No more than two visitors are scheduled for each visit and they must be on the pre-approved visitation list.
  5. You must be scheduled in advance to visit. Anyone visiting without being on the schedule will result in a suspension or ban for all visitors that are present at that time.
  6. All visits are recorded and subject to electronic monitoring by the henry county jail staff. Your use of this video visitation system constitutes consent to this recording and monitoring.
  7. The visitor and inmate are responsible for being present at the start of the scheduled visit.
  8. Every visitor that scheduled their visit in advance must show up at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled visit, but no more than 30 minutes prior to your scheduled visit. Visitors arriving late will only receive the balance of the remaining visiting time, or may not be allowed to visit at the discretion of corrections staff.
  9. Participation in video visitation is a privilege, not a right. Both visitors and inmates are expected to conduct themselves in an appropriate fashion at all times during the video visit. Violators of 9a through 9d will be   barred from off-site and on-site visitation:

  12. During the visit, the visitor is required to remain at the visitation booth. If the visitor leaves the visitation booth, the visit will be terminated.
  13. Visitors may only bring their identification and car keys into the visitation area. (us currency and credit cards may be brought in if money is being added to the inmate's commissary) cell phones, cameras or other electronic devices are prohibited. No purses, diaper bags, briefcases, food, drink etc.
  14. Loud talking or any type of provocative or disruptive behavior will not be permitted.
  15. Do not damage or deface the visitation equipment. Doing so will result in prosecution.
  16. If you experience a problem with the audio or video reception during your visit you are required to notify the    corrections staff immediately.
  17. At the time of scheduling, the family member must be prepared to provide the following information:
    1. Inmate legal name
    2. Visitor valid government-issued photo identification (I.e., driver's license)
    3. Visitor home address
    4. Visitor telephone number
    5. Visitor email address
  18. Inmates on work detail will not be allowed to leave the detail for a friends/family video visit.

On-Site Video Visitation Hours

Sunday, Wednesday, and Saturday
9 to 11 am, 1 to 5 pm, 7 to 8 pm
