Services |
The Information Services Department is an internal service
department. IS provides a wide
range of computer related services to
Henry County Government Departments. Some of
the services offered are:
- Providing technical expertise and support of all technology
products
and services
- Building of custom computers
- Trouble shooting hardware, software and data wiring systems
- Network wiring
- Repairing hardware
- Purchasing hardware and software for County Departments
- Performing daily system backup services
- Providing off-site back up storage
- Planning long range technology goals and activities
- Assisting other county departments and offices to assure the value
of their technology investments
- Providing a secure environment for the County's information
resources and data
- Assisting in the sharing of information among departments and the
public
- Encouraging uniformity in county business processes and services
- General software training for County Employees and Elected
